	ChrisC	As my frustration levels began to mount this weekend while trying to figure out iMovie / voice over for my presentation, I ran across this tutorial. It is wonderful if you have a mac! I also ended up subscribing to Curt's site to find more tutorials on how to do things in my mac. I know that it is not a TeacherTube video so I will post another but I was excited and wanted to share the cool things I found!
	Brooke W.	Social Studies: Often the information in social studies is difficult to retain, and for students, unless anchored with some sort of mnemonic device, is difficult to be recalled. In 7th grade history, for example, students are learning about Ancient History. One figure they study is Charlemagne. In order for students to learn the facts of Charlemagne, a teacher could teach the material, but then enhance the teaching with a video from YouTube. For an example of a catchy song packed with information, look at this video on Charlemagne. I thought I may link some words and standards to further clarify. http://youtu.be/pfn-6QFbze0	Lorraine G	My 9 year old son, forgot how to play 'Wipeout' on his guitar. Isn't it amazing that he can go to the computer for a refresher lesson, which got me thinking.... Years ago, we had to wait for the instructor to return to learn it again. Now with computers, my son can learn more, faster, and be more confident at his next lesson. Every time I stretch my mind a little further, I see how computers have changed our children's lives.
	Terri B	This is a great clip to show the different types of propaganda. Students can compare and contrast to current techniques.
	Becky L	This video is something that I like to show my students as I introduce them to google docs. It is a great introduction on some of the advantages of using google docs for group projects.
	Krista L.	This video shows an activity that a teacher did with ESL newcomers. After learning school vocabulary, they created a map of the building and took that with them to interact with adults and other students outside of the ESL classroom. I thought it was a great activity to do during the first week of school.

to show my class about Internet Safety.



Doug P - Funny and Informative Teacher created video on the Five Themes of Geography. I might not have created a similar video, but I might have played this one to open the topic.

		Rachael Osborn: This video shows a classroom's spoof on Greek Mythology, acted out by the students. Not only would it be fun - I can students really getting into this - but it also taught the students important elements of traditional mythology, such as the characters, themes, and basic stories of how things came to be.
	Tim Mathew:	This video not only shows the impact of Web 2.0 technologies, but also asks some interesting questions. What I like about the video is that it acknowledge that how we USE Web 2.0, not its mere existence, is the key to making web connectivity a source of positive impact in education.
	Tim M.	Saw this one after I'd already added the one above. Thought it would be worth mentioning one of the great things about You/Teachertube. Sometimes the suggested videos come up with useful stuff you never knew you were looking for. This particular video is a little slow in developing, but the animation is fantastic, and it really illustrates how hard reading must be for someone with dyslexia. an important point to remember when we consider how much text is a part of many new as well as old technologies.
